When you look at a glass, is it half full, or half empty? If you are Jacob or Megan Gochnauer, it's most likely overflowing!!! Yes, they have opened a new restaurant...in Zumbrota! Whaaaat, you ask? Must be all that youthful energy they have a market on!
Megan used to work at the Cattleman's Corner LLC restaurant at the stockyard back in 2018 to 2020, and she always enjoyed being there. I mean, there are cows there! And she loved seeing everyone come in for food and camaraderie. When the chance came to run the place, Jacob and Megan decided to "Go For" it!
The restaurant, located in Central Livestock at 44326 County 6 Blvd (the livestock sale barn ) will be open Mondays from 7:30 to 4, and Tuesdays from 7:30 to noon, with an occasional Thursday when there is a sale at the barn. Serving up their own beef for burgers will give the public a chance to taste test the quality of their "other business", too! The menu is full breakfasts, burgers, soup and a daily special each day. They will also offer ready made meals to pick up and take home, or grab them frozen to cook up at a later date. Very convenient, and healthy!
So far, the take out meals are flying off the counters. Starting on Wednesday, you can go to their website and see the meals being offered for the week. There will be 7 different entrees, 4 breakfast choices and some desserts, too. You have until Saturday to get your order in. You fill out the Google form, send it in, and your meals will be ready to pick up either at the restaurant, the Farm Store in West Concord, or you may choose to have them delivered. You will have locally grown, preservative free meals, fresh or frozen, to make your meals as easy as popping it in your oven.
