Jamie Sommers is pleased to announce the addition of Abbi Clement, certified esthetician, to the crew at All The Buzz. She has been interviewing for the position, looking for just the right fit, and Abbi was chosen. Complimenting the other offerings of hair cut, color and styling, beauty products to keep your hair and skin healthy, and massage, now facial and body care complete the selections for you to choose from.
Abbi currently lives in Rochester, but is looking forward to eventually relocating to Wanamingo to join her cousins. Some of her cousins are Harriet and Gary Peterson, Courtney Junger and Sara Burke. “Even though I live in a big city now, I’m really a small town girl. I am looking forward to becoming a part of this community!” says Abbi. She grew up camping with her family, mostly in Wisconsin. When she is not working , you will find her out boating, at rodeos, or outdoors with her blue heeler.
Graduating in April from Nova Academy as a licenced esthetition, she has been searching for the right fit. I asked her how she decided on her career.
“I started out as a para professional in early childhood development because I love working with kids.”. After 7 years, she was ready for a change. Since she had always loved skin care and makeup, she decided to follow that dream and enrolled at Nova. There she found her niche, and has been happy in the field of beauty.
She uses all natural products that the school she attended recommends called Eminence. It is an organic blend from Hungary that caters to all skin types, from sensitive to aging and mature skin, using ingredients that you can pronounce! Her repertoire includes brow tinting and waxing, facials, hand , foot and back skin treatments, masks, exfoliants and paraffin dips. A relaxing facial massage with extractions included, and moisturization complete her current presentation of services. She will be doing lash applications in the future, too.
