Almost every day, our hardworking and highly trained Minnesota school bus drivers safely transport more than 682,000 cherished students to and from school and activities. On February 21, 2024, Held Bus Service, Kenyon-Wanamingo Schools, and the entire state of Minnesota are celebrating School Bus Driver Appreciation Day to recognize these awesome professionals. You may recognize those that drive the big yellow school busses, but those that drive our transportation vans (Type III school bus) are also school bus drivers.
Kenyon-Wanamingo Schools, as well as the City of Wanamingo and the City of Kenyon, are approving proclamations in honor of our school bus drivers.
This event is coordinated with the Minnesota School Bus Operator’s Association (MSBOA) and the Minnesota Association of Pupil Transportation (MAPT).
