This month the Lions Club is offering to cook you up a scrumptious breakfast to help raise funds for their yearly activities, which you may have read about in last month's Messenger. The donations will go to The Parade of Green. These are several of the organizations they sponsor, and there will be more information at the event.
The breakfast will be held at the Wanamingo Community Center on Main Street, February 24th from 7 to 9 am. The menu will be pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, milk, juice and coffee for a free will donation, and it is all you can eat!
Bring the family and mingle with your neighbors, and you won't even have to do the dishes! The Lions club has only a few fundraisers each year, and they do a whole lot of activities for the local community, as well as national programs, so come on out and support them if you can. There will be take out available, if you wish to enjoy your meal in the comfort of your own home, or maybe surprise someone with a hot and hearty meal! It is never a bad idea to support your local community, and to be of service to others! We hope to see you there!
