Imagine a high-society anniversary party gone hilariously wrong. The host is found bleeding, and the hostess is missing. The first guests, lawyers Ken Gorman and his wife Chris, scramble to get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusion and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.
Ryan Frank and Beth Regener star as the Gormans, who kick off the evening's chaotic cover-up. Lenny Ganz, the accountant, and his gossipy wife Claire are brought to life by Nick Rudlong and Lindsay Herr. Joel Starks and Mary McPhee play psychiatrist Ernie Cuzack and his cooking show host wife, Cookie. Drew Adams takes on the role of Glenn Cooper, a state senate candidate, while the fiery Cassie Cooper is portrayed in alternating performances by Rebecca Bromelkamp and Raquel Hellman. Bob Soland plays the skeptical Officer Welch, and the role of Officer Pudney is shared by Annie Johnson and Rebecca Bromelkamp. All this comedic mayhem unfolds under the direction of Bill Schnell.
