And don't forget the ever popular Chili Contest! For $10 you could eat as much chili and fixins as you desired!. This year's winners of the contest were Wanamingo Fire & Rescue winning Flashover.... the best tasting HOT chili. Zumbrota Fire Department took Ignition Point.....the best tasting MILD chili. And a big congratulations to the Kenyon Volunteer Fire Department for winning the Mutual Aid category for the best tasting chili and overall winner of the contest!
Even though this was the second year with no snow to take a ride, there were so many people in attendance, and it looked like everyone was having a great time. Eat, drink and be merry would have been a great theme, and there was a bean bag toss going on into the night.
